Development of Pre-service Teacher Education Program for Computational Thinking

Abstract: This study developed a pre-service teacher education course to understand and use computational thinking in the classes. Computational thinking is one of the most important ability for 21st century. And many countries endeavor to connect computational thinking with regular curricula. These efforts include school teacher and pre-service teacher education is required. The principles and concepts of computer science, algorithms, programming language were included in the sixty hours’ training course. On various aspects of this teacher education program requires a lot of discussions to set up proper educational course, including educational content and training periods.
