Abstract: As educators have evaluated and written curriculum in the digital age, one of their focus areas has been the use of technology. Many schools of thought have evolved from constructivism and Riesman’s other-directedness to show ways for technological influence on curriculum. As technology progresses and equipment becomes more readily available, educators are looking for ways to bring them into the classroom. Computer usage has been around for several years, but the advances in mobile devices and applications are starting to make a significant shift in how people access information. Examining these methods along with advances in technology will help instructors understand how to transform the learning environment. More importantly the emphasis on mobile learning or m-learning increases the portability, sharing and transfer of knowledge among students.
