Abstract: In this study, the researchers plan to investigate how educational video games affect students’ achievement, their motivation to learn mathematical concepts, and their attitudes towards mathematics learning in intermediate algebra courses. Both quantitative and qualitative data will be collected to test the hypothesis that gamifying the topics taught in intermediate algebra will positively impact students’ performance in the course and their disposition toward mathematics learning.
