Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to suggest an alternative approach to engage preservice teachers in producing creative and innovative projects for their e-folios. This paper highlights an assignment derived from the push-pull marketing model. Teacher candidates were encouraged to maximize their own creativity and design projects to suit their talents and preferences. They were asked to create YouTube videos illustrating the different genres of projects. The processes, challenges and issues of this project model are addressed. The paper further explores the impact and implications of how this model can be generalized to promote instructional projects for future implementation.
