Abstract: The paper examines wiki use by senior pre-service teachers in order to develop lesson plans and educational materials for integrating robotics in the teaching and learning process. Pre-service teachers were asked to develop lesson plans which integrate robotics as cognitive-learning tools to achieve specific learning objectives within the elementary school curriculum. Sixty-five pre-service teachers worked in this project that lasted for 4 weeks. The lessons took place during Fall semester 2013 (2 groups) and during Spring semester 2014 (1 group). A mixed method approach was employed collecting data from focus groups, classroom and wikis observations. The analysis revealed that students’ overall GPA, interest in wikis and in robotics influenced the use of wikis to develop educational material related to robotics.
