Abstract: The presentation will discuss an ongoing study to gather data from undergraduate student perspectives on the use of iPads in the Engineering Graphics classroom and perceived impact on instruction. In addition, students used iPads for internet access to support inquiry, take notes, and create supporting iDraw sketches. . During the semester, the class was divided into two groups. One group had iPads and the other group was provided traditional hard copies of handouts and PowerPoints.
