Abstract: Flipping is an educational model that is intuitively appealing because it moves the presentation of factual information to video content assigned as homework while providing more time for in-class discussions, activities and 1:1 interactions. However, the evidence on the efficiency of flipping is limited and the authors’ experience in teacher education suggests that it may only be effective for some students.
