Abstract: We investigated: Can sustained, collaborative professional development experiences with digital educative curriculum materials help in-service social studies teachers develop professional teaching knowledge? Following our thirteen-month PD program, none of the seven participants fully adopted a wise-practice pedagogy. Still, collaborative experiences with ECMs helped teachers begin to demonstrate professional teaching knowledge.
