Abstract: This paper highlights best practices for an online peer review community at Gnomon School of Visual Effects, which arose out of continuous feedback from Art History I student surveys to include more time for final project peer review and critiques, formalize the peer review process and create an asynchronous community for reviews. Creating an online peer review community helped achieve the final project learning objectives of enhancing critical thinking skills, communication, and art historical literacies.
