Abstract: This paper introduces the virtual learning platform constructed with VMware. VMware is the virtualization and private cloud development software widely used in the IT industry to create a cloud-based IT infrastructure. With VMware, an education institution can construct a learning infrastructure for hands-on practice. This paper explores the strategies and practices of the design and implementation of the VMware-powered virtualized learning infrastructure to meet the requirements of IT education.
