Abstract: In this paper the authors share how they prepare preservice teachers to teach about bullying through Young Adult Literature and a critical digital literacies approach. The aim is to encourage beginning teachers to think critically about their preconceived ideas regarding bullying through participation in literature circles and the creation of lesson/unit plans based on eight YA books that deal with the important topic of bullying.
