Abstract: Teachers’ decisions regarding their use of technologies in the classroom may be better understood by considering an important basis of their decision-making: their conceptions of what teaching is about. Such conceptions, termed “teaching perspectives” by major authors, can be measured by self-report questionnaires. Such an instrument, the Teaching Perspectives Inventory (TPI), has been developed and validated. This study is a milestone in the French adaptation of the TPI, in which its equivalence with the original version in English was tested.
