Abstract: Information literacy refers to the ability to know when information is needed and how to identify, locate, evaluate, and effectively use that information for the issue or problem at hand. It is a skill expected for all the 21st-century students. The impact of information literacy on students has been studied in nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, and other health education, but little is known in veterinary medical education. The purpose of this study is to investigate how a course on information literacy impacts students' attitude, confidence, and skills in information access, evaluation and application.
