Abstract: Teachers across the United States struggle under growing legal requirements for individualized instruction as classroom enrollment continues to rise. There is abundant information and training on how to serve various individual students depending on their disabilities, abilities, and other accommodations. A gap in information and training exist regarding how to serve large groups of students individually and simultaneously. Individualized computer based instruction provides one possible answer to this problem. Simply providing instruction which is computer based will not serve learners with a wide spectrum of needs.
