Abstract: When a course is offered completely online, experience suggests that graduate students are grateful for guidance in completing assignments. Many students enter programs with a limited instructional design background. By creating a template for designing technology integration, the students are introduced to an instructional design process while considering technology integration into their teaching. With some modifications, the template has been used in courses focused on graduate students learning to design online instruction.
