Abstract: Abstract: The importance of the dialogue and help seeking on learning have mostly emphasized by educational researchers. So, this paper reports results from a quantitative cross-sectional survey research study that was conducted to determine the types of dialogue utilized by online learners, identify the type of help the learners seek, and from whom they seek help. To address research questions, the researchers administered an online survey to 390 undergraduate students at a state university in Turkey enrolled in an online course.
