How Comfortable Are You with Assistive Technology for All Students?
Abstract: With the increasing number of students with disabilities, teachers must be prepared with a variety of assistive technology to meet the needs of all students with or without disabilities. The study will examine the perception, attitudes, patterns of using AT by teachers from low to high technology tools to develop effective curriculum integrating AT in teacher education programs. Approximately 60 teacher candidates and 60 teachers will participate in this study. The quantitative and qualitative data will be collected in spring 2016 through online survey and focus group interviews.
