Abstract: Mathematically Connected Communities (MC2) MathLab™ is a week-long experience that situates professional learning for teachers and administrators in K-12 classroom practice by utilizing live video-streaming of students doing mathematics and teacher observation rooms. This brief paper will present an overview of how technology including video, audio, and live feed is used to allow teachers to learn about mathematics teaching while observing lessons in real time. The process for creating a partnership between MC2 and the Creative Media Institute, and challenges, strengths and teacher impressions about this unique experience will also discussed.
