Share Paper: An Evaluation of the Impact of Using iPads in Teacher Education

Abstract: One hundred teacher candidates completed an online survey for the evaluation study in the fall semesters of 2013 and 2014. Five faculty members participated in interviews in person in fall 2013 and four through email in fall 2014. Findings from the evaluation study indicate teacher candidates and faculty had an overall positive experience of using iPads in their teacher education courses. Findings also inform the School of Education on its programmatic policy for further implementation of iPads in its teacher education programs.
