Abstract: Video modeling is a method of instruction that uses video recording and display equipment to provide a visual model of the targeted behavior or skill. Types of video modeling include: basic video modeling, video self-modeling, and point-of-view video modeling. Numerous studies show that video modeling is effective in the acquisition, generalization, and maintenance of target behaviors. With the progression of technology, video-based modeling is becoming more prevalent and cost effective.
