Abstract: The Assessment Innovation Research (AIR) Studio is professional learning community with a mission to help teachers strengthen classroom assessment practices. AIR consists of an online clearinghouse of resources made by and for educators. Resources include training videos, technology reviews, assessment instruments, and assessment best practices. All teachers are welcome to join AIR and share their own resources. AIR is a physical studio at the university and an online one. Teacher education majors work in the on campus studio help make digital resources with teachers and assist in the management of the online studio. We also have a review process that allows the community to evaluate resources that meet select criteria. In this way, AIR helps elevate the profession as it welcomes all teachers to the community.
