Abstract: This session is for improving the climate and expectations of the classroom by changing expectations. By utilizing proven techniques and clear expectations teachers can reclaim their classroom and energize their students to learn. Teachers, administrators and all individuals involved in the educational process are welcome to participate in a new perspective to learning. This session will provide ways to limit frustrations, referrals, and paperwork while improving participation, learning and positive interactions through effective classroom strategies. This session is not just for a single classroom, but a community of educators and learners willing to improve their educational system. The goal is to enable learners to be proactive in changing their behaviors with a positive purpose and this session will provide those tools to you. This session will change your perspective on classroom behaviors as well as the climate in your school by eliminating 70-80% of office referrals.
