Share Paper: Classification of Cognitive Domains and Natural User Interface in Immersive Virtual Environments

Abstract: This paper suggests a new category of embodied natural user interface to combine with cognitive domains in Bloom’s revised taxonomy. This category is to match appropriate embodied natural user interfaces corresponding to cognitive domains when developing immersive virtual environments. In particular, science education emphasizes learners’ inquiry activities based on hands-on participation in virtual reality. In this environment, embodied approach in virtual reality may be particularly helpful to assist into learners’ hands-on interaction of scientific phenomenon.
