Abstract: Innovative technology provides opportunities for online designers and instructors to bring L.I.F.E. (Learning Interaction Flexibility and Engagement) into the development and implementation of successful courses. Lehman and Conceiḉão (2014) share that today’s online environment should encourage new ways of learning for students. Using technology creates unique learning possibilities, provides various types of interaction, and allows for flexibility in demonstrating students’ understanding of subject matter. Bringing “life” to online courses often inspires students’ engagement with the material, assignments, and the overall courses. In the spirit of Savannah, this best practices presentation will provide participants with several technological options that can bring “life” to the party, or online course.
