Abstract: The generation of learners today are much different than the generation of learners in the past. Students of the 21st century thrive on the use of technology and the concept of blending technology as well as experiential learning into various learning experiences. The persistent exposure to digital media as well as the Internet has shaped the way millennials’ receive information and learn. The integration of technology and experiential learning are both powerful and active learning strategies, which provide students with the empowerment that they need to transform into independent learners who apply their knowledge and skills outside of the classroom.
