Abstract: This presentation describes the efforts of program faculty to support candidates’ data driven decision-making through adoption of two technology-based platforms developed and offered by the state department of education. Faculty partnered with the state department and local school districts in a project to integrate data-driven instructional tools into an existing teacher education program of study. The impact on candidates’ data literacy was measured through a pre/post survey design, analysis of candidates’ performance on assignments, and candidate focus group responses.
