Abstract: Technology leadership is a challenging responsibility for any principal, and for first-year principals, there are added challenges associated with being new to the role. This study presents the experience of one first-year principal who was charged with leading a one-to-one (1:1) computing initiative. This phenomenological case study provides new insights into technology leadership and adds to the research on 1:1 computing, which has not yet examined the experience of first-year principals leading change in this context.
