Abstract: A national Fabrication Network (FabNet) that includes the Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education (SITE) as well as a number of other institutions (www.fabnet.us) is collaborating with the Smithsonian Institution to develop a series of FabNet Invention Kits that enable students to use school makerspaces to reconstruct key inventions in history.
