Share Paper: Engaging All Students in Learning with Free Apps and Response Tools for Formative Assessment

Abstract: Students of all ability level, skill set, and learning modality need support in comprehension through interactive instruction. Comprehension is best measured by formative assessments with an immediate performance or a frequent assessment during the learning process. A teacher’s role is to listen and observe throughout instruction, and using student responses has the potential to facilitate instant information to the level of comprehension.
