Abstract: Technology integration in teacher education has an important role for preservice teachers to achieve the key elements of a professional development and prepare for their future teaching career. Situated learning theory helps explain the implicit and explicit impact on courses and interactions with instructor in shaping preservice teachers’ technological pedagogy. Therefore, course selection is important. Course descriptions provide insight on the intent of a course to include pedagogically sound models of educational technology use. In this roundtable presentation, we would like to report our initial findings for this research in progress and whether our findings reflect the current state of technological integration and modeling in Colleges of Education across the U.S.
