The purpose of this virtual presentation is to offer critical reflections and lessons learned from the ongoing development of a flipped classroom. This flipped classroom is designed to instruct, remediate, and provide enrichment opportunities for low-level readers enrolled in a 6th-grade general science course. Furthermore, it provides opportunities for university and school district collaboration through the use of differentiated instruction and collaborative teaching experiences with technology. Other aspects discussed include best practices for online instructional design and collaborative partnerships between K12 schools and universities.
Our questions are:
What are some suggestions to further enrich the university/school partnership?
What other tech tools might further nurture a university/school partnership?
