Abstract: In this case study, first we highlight the results of a survey administered to the pre-service teachers to see their own expectation about the course, general preference about online learning, basic technology skills, and perception about the implementation of a new tool and pedagogical approach in the online learning environment. By illustrating our efforts to cope with students’ frustration in adopting a new way to learn in an online learning environment throughout the semester, we suggest the design and implementation principles in regard to the best online instruction to the community of online teaching and learning.
