Abstract: With concern about how to improve the method by which teacher candidates learn to teach with technology, four teacher educators created a list of competencies that all teacher educators would need to develop. The Teacher Educator Technology Competencies (TETCs) were created with input from other teacher preparation experts and educational technology faculty. During this session, attendees will engage in open discussion driven by contextual aspects of colleges of education, as related to the potential adoption of the TETCs. There will be a specific focus on the practical aspects of change toward technology infusion.
