Abstract: In this age of high stakes accountability, how do we prepare teachers to be classroom ready day one? How do we prepare them to feel confident and competent while at the same time allowing them to make the mistakes that have taught us all to be better and more skilled teachers? As education faculty, our time with our teacher candidates is extremely finite and we must find relatively low-cost, low-risk learning and teaching opportunities.
