Abstract: Digital citizenship is a multi-faceted topic that involves the responsible use of technology in a community. This paper discusses a variety of strategies for introducing digital citizenship, and it highlights two particular strategies: teacher-created digital podcasts on digital citizenship for use in their own classroom, and discussions using video posts to an electronic discussion board. The paper also presents a study of in-service high school teachers’ video discussions about digital citizenship as part of a graduate course.
