Abstract: The use of videos in the learning process should enhance content knowledge acquisition, cognitive development, and skill advancement. Instructors can provide videos to support learning the content of courses. Instructors can also require students to identify videos to support their learning, articulate the content they are learning, and show how they will be able to apply the content. The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of an assignment to articulate and apply content using student-identified video clips
