Share Paper: Building Pre-Service Teachers’ Capacity to Nurture Young Innovators

Abstract: In order for young learners to grow as creative innovators, they must have teachers who nurture their creativity and innovative mindsets. The purpose of this paper and roundtable is to discuss ways in which teacher educators can support pre-service teachers in building their capacity to nurture young innovators. The discussion will be guided by questions that will bring forth strategies, specific examples and practical technology tools to help prepare pre-service teachers to ignite these important skills in early learners.
