Abstract: The continuous advancement of technology has provided the possibilities and challenges of mobile devices for learning. The purpose of the study is to create a wearable virtual reality environment for English learning. A pilot study was conducted to examine student self-efficacy of English learning in a wearable virtual reality environment. Results show that students moderately ranked in their self-efficacy. The feedback from these students will further help the researchers improve the design and the content of the learning environment.
