Abstract: When technology is integrated into learning experiences, it is better when participants have the opportunity to learn through the use of the technology. Simulated learning is one way to connect learning through the use of technology as an integrated, meaningful experience with opportunities to problem solve through successes and failures. In our research, we use case study methodology to examine one case of a preservice teacher who learned to trade stocks through participation in a simulated stock trading game.
