Abstract: Technology is becoming more prevalent and unavoidably interconnected with education. Advancements in technology has had a wide-ranging impact on the we teach and learn. as a result, all levels of education, administrators, teachers, and students are abandoning ‘tried and true’ methods for technology-based lessons. Whether a teacher is using technology to address the entire class or students are using devices individually, teachers relying on paper-centered learning is declining at a rapid pace. The increase of technology and reduction of print to teach language and comprehension in the academic sphere begs the question: do e-texts provide the same benefits of print while providing further means of intellectual engagement?
