Abstract: Educators are seeking ways to create customizable and flexible digital and multimodal resources for educators to learn how to develop their skills at curriculum design (e.g., Hofer & Harris, 2016). This best practices session focuses on creating innovative digital resources including synchronous, asynchronous, open access web-based, and social-media based curated content (e.g., Pinterest) to better support students who are novice to lesson planning and design. These ideas can be used in online, blended, or face-to-face teacher preparation settings.
