Abstract: Teacher education programs are being called to create opportunities for teacher candidates to better understand the ways that students think about mathematics. Building upon research on video cases, we iteratively developed an online video-based instructional intervention that consists of a series of online modules centered around videos of students solving secondary level mathematical tasks. In this session, we will describe how we recorded the videos (with a specific focus on the technology used) and how we iteratively developed the online platform for the project.
