Abstract: This study examines the design quality of and technology use of history instructional resources sold on TeachersPayTeachers.com (TpT), one of the most prominent online educational marketplaces (Gomes, 2015). We conducted a content analysis of the 100 top selling TpT U.S. history activities for 11th grade. Overall, we found that the best-selling 11th grade U.S. history activities on TpT contained high marketing appeal and strong graphic design elements, but were uneven in terms of instructional support.
