Live / Synchronous
ID: 57736
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to design and develop an asynchronous web-based instruction (WBI) to train faculty about adult education approaches, namely andragogy. Dick and Carey model was used to design and develop the instruction. WBI was evaluated by using both formative and summative evaluation techniques. The results revealed from both evaluations, including subject matter expert review, user interface, and content quality questionnaire, that the user interface and overall quality were good and set objectives could be achieved with developed WBI. Findings also suggested that more activities with interactive materials would enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the WBI.
