Abstract: Literature focused on the implementation of STEAM education within K-12 Classrooms in the United States emphasizes the need for researchers to address the potential for disrupting the pedagogical contentment of teachers who have little or no backgrounds or teaching experiences in the fields represented by STEAM. This research/evaluation presentation reports the results of a five year study and responds to the major research question: How does the immersion of K-12 teachers into STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) education within a K-12 school district impact the pedagogical discontentment levels of teachers and what specific factors significantly influence teachers' pedagogical discontentment levels within a rural school district in the southeast region of the United States.
