Abstract: In this paper, to teach the new backward design method to student teachers, the activity of developing virtual lesson games for teaching its method to other student teachers was carried out. By making their lesson plans in the form of virtual lesson games and to confirm their effect on the other students, it may be possible to allow them to clarify important viewpoints to improve PBL lessons while using the new backward design method. In this activity, what students needed to develop were lesson plans and instructional materials for PBL lessons to be put in virtual lesson games. Therefore, I developed a template for the game board in order to generalize this practice in various subject areas and contents.
