Abstract: We will present a study that explored the potential of Google Glass, an Optical Head-Mounted Display (OHMD), to support students’ learning of oral presentation skills through instant feedback. The system allowed instructors to display context-relevant feedback while students gave in-class presentations. Students’ perception of the usability of the system, the usefulness of the feedback, as well as its impact on students’ self-efficacy were examined using semi-structured interviews. Student responses to the system and the feedback were overwhelmingly positive, and support further research into the learning affordances of OHMDs to deliver contextualized, instant feedback.
