Abstract: Since open educational resources (OER) have been identified as a key technology that will have a significant impact on the future of education, it is important to provide educators with opportunities to learn with and about OER. In this session, we will showcase how we engaged current and future educators in curating and designing OER for a global audience. We will discuss how these OER design projects influenced motivation, attitudes, learning, and the development of 21st century skills. Then, we will provide tips for incorporating OER design projects into pre-service and in-service teacher learning opportunities.
