Abstract: Educational institutions faced numerous challenges due to the pandemic. The paper critically examines the decisions made and actions implemented at a private university in the European region in addressing the pandemic challenges for its conventional programs of study. Specifically, it aims to define and measure the degree of education quality in regards to education provided to students by identifying various factors that influence the degree of quality education. The population of the study consisted of 103 full-time and part-time faculty members. A case study methodology was employed collecting the required data via questionnaires. The results suggest that the universities need to support and guide the faculty members to develop those skills that will allow them to appropriately design and develop learning environments aligned to the requirements of the new trends: distance education, blended learning, open, flexible and personalized learning.
