Biography

Originally from Athens, Georgia, Betsy has recently submitted her PhD thesis entitled, "Unraveling the tapestry of the study abroad experience: An investigation of the role of self-identified goals and motivations in university students." Among her research interests are synchronous and asynchronous data collection from students abroad; international education; intercultural learning and communication; advancement of comprehensive internationalization on tertiary campuses; policy and practice in international education; service learning and global citizenship; motivation theory and goal setting; and administrative resource frameworks.
